    In all honesty, if I were studying a non-subject like psychology or some other social science and I had to conduct a survey as part of my dissertation, this would be the quickest and easiest way to do it. Just make a shit fan page like “OMG FACTS ABOUT SEX!!” that a bunch of childish morons wanted to see and have it show them my survey.
    Genius, really.

    It’s one of those age-old cases where annoying, dickheaded people will exploit something which is used for genuine purposes. The FBML (Facebook Mark-up Language) is a useful tool for genuine companies and businesses promoting themselves, but then people exploit it to get those annoying ‘Join-if-you-want-content’ things. You can’t get rid of those without getting rid of FBML altogether, as far as I can tell. Pretty stupid on facebook’s part, really, it could be used to distribute malware in the not too distant future :/
